Success analysis-the concept of "Critical Mass"

How many times have you thought about the fact that successful, famous, have lots of money? Many times, I bet. Then you start thinking about the cost of all that and you are going to be a little lie down until the feeling passes. That would be similar?

Sure, you can keep all of those things I mentioned above, but do you want them so bad that you're willing to pay what it costs to make it a reality?

Some time ago I attended a "success" seminar. One of the presenters, a highly successful gentleman, broke the to the basic components of what it takes to achieve success. He urged us to make a note of the "winning formula". Dutifully, ready, those of us who had brought notebooks and pens was to learn of this wisdom.

Here's what he said:

"There are only three things you should do:
1-work out what you want,

2-discover the price,

3-pay the price. "

Huh? At the time I thought that was pretty superficial. In fact, I can remember rather disappointed as I watched this guy in his Armani suit, gold watch, alligator-leather shoes and Greek tan. However, as the years have passed I have come to realize that he only did that to be as brief as possible. He was 100% correct.

I would like his words a bit further. Much further, in fact. I compare success with a nuclear explosion. It takes a long time for all components are deployed and brought together. However, when those parts "critical mass" to achieve everything happens so suddenly. Maybe, in this day and age this analogy is not the best example-but the concept of critical mass is the best way I can describe.

Let's look at some of the components of the critical mass:

1-knowledge-the ability to learn everything you can about your chosen search,

2-passion-the love of what you are doing,

3-discipline-the willingness to deny yourself fun until the work is done,

4-commitment-the ability to keep going, often in the face of adversity,

5-self belief-trust in your own abilities,

6-imagination-the ability to "see" your goals before they become a reality,

7-faith-believe in a power greater than yourself,

8-dare-willingness to go "out on a limb" to tackle your conquest,

9-patience-so your project time to mature.

After all these things are there any other qualities that you must have. What would be the point of achieving success through immorality or by unethical? Of course, there are people who do just that, but their success is only temporary. For example, you can plan and execute a bank robbery using all of the nine components I have mentioned above but you will end up in prison. So what's the point?

Most people who have achieved something worthwhile have been using these qualities over a long period of time. Often, when they reach their success they will be presented by the press as an overnight success. The truth is always quite different. Up to "critical mass" takes time but when you get there the result can be amazing.

Start working on your project, immerse yourself in it. Check yourself at the above mentioned parts.

Find out what you want, find out the price you will have to pay and ... like the gentleman said, pay the price.
