Never Focus on the Money: Focus on Your Higher Purpose and Contribution

Loading ... Loading ...Read Summary

People fail far too often in the working world because they focus too much on the money they earn at their jobs. The money you are paid is generally commensurate with your contribution to something more important, more meaningful, and much larger than yourself. When you focus on what you are doing for the world and the value of this contribution, you become energized. Being energized by your work brings more and better work your way and ultimately leads to greater earnings. The money is a by-product of your contribution to your job. You generally will be paid at a rate matching your contribution to the bigger picture.

What is your particular contribution to the bigger picture? Every job makes a contribution to a bigger picture.

I started delivering papers when I was 10 years old. By the time I was 13, I was getting up at 5:00 every morning to deliver more than 175 papers in a prestigious suburb of Detroit. High-ranking auto executives lived in most of the houses. When I delivered these papers, I found myself energized by the thought I was providing them information they would be using to help run companies that supported the American economy, provided millions of jobs, and gave people access to transportation. In a small way, I realized, in this job I was fulfilling a larger purpose.

Some years later, I took a second job washing dishes in a cafeteria. I motivated myself in this job by thinking if not for my work, hundreds of people each night might go hungry. I was also providing people enjoyment when they sat down for dinner, I was helping families spend more time together, and I was making the world a happier place. This motivated me to do good work, and it made me happy.

Whatever you do, there is a higher purpose to your work, and your job is fulfilling a role that is changing the world and making a contribution. Money is just money. When you focus on the money, you lose track of the importance of the contribution you make. My career advice is to find the importance in your contribution and use this to inspire your job performance.

Don’t focus on money if you want to do well in your job. In the same way a person must focus on his or her relationship in order to have a successful one, a person must focus on his or her work in order to be successful at it. Focus on your job and your performance–nothing else. If you can do this, the money will follow.

It is easy for me to spot people whose eyes are on the money and not the job. These people are in every profession and they never have long-term success. Having a larger purpose is incredibly important, and money is not a larger purpose.

The issue I see with people who always focus on the money is that they are constantly interrupting their work to consider if they are getting the short end of the stick. They are extremely concerned about their compensation relative to others. They wonder whether or not their efforts are being adequately compensated every step of the way. They are overly concerned about the accuracy of each paycheck. Their focus on their work is perpetually distracted by an interest in the money, rather than the job.

If you were an employer, who would you want to have working for you? Someone who is committed and enthusiastic about the job? Or someone who appears to be doing the work just for the money?

Several years ago, I was speaking with a young CIA agent and he told me about a meeting he was getting ready to have with a senior agent. The senior agent told him the person they were going to speak with was very dishonest, untrustworthy, and an all-around bad person. However, the agents would be nice and would treat the target nicely. They would only accomplish their assignment if the target were to see them this way. The senior agent said something to the younger agent he thought so profound he remembered it throughout his career:

“Don’t ever think something or else you will show it.”

Basically, the second you start thinking something, you will begin telegraphing your thoughts. People will begin to pick up on it through nonverbal signals, facial expressions, and body language.

Have you ever had the experience of being able to tell something about someone without speaking to the person? You just get a feeling about something. Who knows how we pick up on it, but we do.

When you are focused on the money, you put your purpose in the job on the back burner in favor of your obsession with how much you are going to make. People easily pick up on this–employers, clients, and others. This is one of the worst things you can do in any job.

At the risk of becoming overly metaphysical, I would like to share a quick side story with you. I was at a dinner once discussing this exact topic of people picking up clues about others through nonverbal communication. The person I was talking with had a background in engineering and the study of energy, and he too was interested in this subject. He told me there is a gland in the brain–the pituitary gland–that for some strange reason has almost the exact same cellular structure as our eyes. He told me he believes people pick up on information using this. He believed this has something to do with how humans pick up signals from the world around them when they are babies.

This may seem like bizarre thinking, but I do believe when people are more concerned with their salary than their work, the people around them pick up on it. You should push any concerns you have about your compensation out of your mind, and focus on your work and your work’s greater purpose. The greater purpose of your work is something that deserves your attention. Regardless of what type of work you do, it has a greater purpose. People will pick up on your passion and will want to work with you.

Every single person I’ve ever known in our company who is outstanding at what he or she does has always focused on the greater purpose of his or her work. Every single attorney I know who is outstanding at his or her job has always focused on the work and not the reward. Get into what you do and realize your higher purpose.

Agree? Disagree? I don’t care, please tell me what you think by commenting below. I give free stuff away every week to the most thoughtful commenters on my site!

One of the greatest causes of failure in the work world is when your focus diverts from your contribution to the money you are earning. You need to understand the larger purpose for which you have been hired. The money you are paid for your job is generally commensurate with your contribution to something more important, more meaningful, and much larger than yourself. The secret to success then will be having a higher purpose to your work and being energized by your work which would ultimately bring more and better work and lead to more money.

How To Create Wealth and Have More Money

Share/Bookmark

There are so many people in the world who WANT more money, to be wealthy, and enjoy great abundance, but yet they live a life of lack and unhappiness. So what are they doing wrong?

They focus every day on what they don’t have, on what they’re missing, and wonder why this foretold wealth doesn’t magically appear.

Don’t you have to live meagerly and save every penny so you can amass wealth?

Absolutely not! That’s the plan that KEEPS you broke.

It’s one thing to completely waste and not appreciate anything you have, but living out of fear and hording every single penny (again – out of FEAR) will actually repel any wealth that may be coming your way.

Some people have amassed fortunes in spite of themselves. Many actually wealthy people save every penny and live as though they were poor, even though they have millions of dollars stashed away in the bank and various couch cushions. At the end of the day, these people live a life of poverty every day, by way of their very own deliberate intent.

And then the financial planning gurus come on television and tell everyone how the need to always stash money away for a rainy day. Then regular people who WANT wealth and abundance in their lives follow these penny-pinching examples and wonder why they stay broke and miserable.

People who are always saving everything away for a “rainy day” are statistically blessed with more rainy days than most anyone. Rainy days are, after all, where their focus is. And we all know that what you focus on grows.

This is not to say that you should spend every last penny you have. But rather, don’t focus your energy and conscious intention on “rainy days” and lack.

Surrounding yourself with poverty and lack at every turn does NOT condition your mind to be at ease with wealth and abundance. Quite the contrary, you’re enforcing a reality of poverty, and virtually guaranteeing that’s what you’ll be experiencing from then on.

Ultimately this means you are living each day out of fear. Not love, hope, excitement and enthusiasm – but fear. And that is the greatest deterrent for wealth and abundance.

Here’s a radical approach that has worked wonders for us, and should work for you as well – if you can only allow yourself to believe in the possibility.

In The Trick to Money is Having Some, Stewart Wilde recommends immersing yourself in the lifestyle you dream about: a life of wealth, abundance, and possibility.

He encourages you to think and live big – more into the nicest possible house you can afford, and stay at a 5 Star hotel whenever you possibly can.  If you can’t afford to stay at a very expensive 5 Star hotel, you can still go there for a coffee, a drink, or maybe even a modest meal.

The point isn’t to spend beyond your means, but rather to FEEL what it’s like to live surrounded by wealth and abundance. You must feel and experience the sensations, what it’s all about. And then, you will slowly come to expect for life to unravel in this manner. And the more you expect something to go a certain way, the more it will.

Another great book that helps to dispel  many of the myths around money and wealth is  Why You’re Dumb, Sick & Broke…And How to Get Smart, Healthy & Rich! by Randy Gage.

Are you focusing on the experience you wish to have, or the problems you wish would go away? Most people just focus on their problems and what they’re missing. Remember: whatever you focus on grows stronger. So if you focus all your energy on your “problems”, bills, and whatever else is making you unhappy, then guess what you’ll get… More of that.

Money itself is worthless paper, it means nothing. The real value to money is the promise of what you can do and achieve in exchange for it.

Logically, we know that money can solve a lot of the issues we’re facing. It can allow us to purchase whatever creature comforts we desire, and so on. But it’s hard to get excited about any of that. At the end of the day, what truly excites you is the dream, the thing that money will get for you. So, let’s go to the source.

Our true power to manifest our desires into reality is based on feelings, emotions. The best and fastest way to attract something into your life is to focus on what you want, see it clearly in your mind, and experience the joy and feelings of ALREADY HAVING IT. Close your eyes and experience the joy of driving your brand new exotic sports car. FEEL the exhilaration, the excitement, the luxury and abundance. Every morning, set aside 10 minutes for a brief meditation where you close your eyes, sit perfectly still, and repeat this exercise.

So stop focusing on “having a lot of money”. Rather, train your focus on what you want to attract into your life… a beautiful home, a wonderful neighborhood, an exotic car, a great job, freedom to work from home for yourself, etc.

Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill-proven steps to wealth, money Secrets & the law of success

"Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill is one of my favorite books and it is one of the all-time best-selling personal finance books in the world. I read this book in March 2007 and have decided to read it again this year. I love so much that I decided to be a review of it on my blog to write so I can back and remind myself of the main points and be inspired any time, anywhere in the world. I really appreciated five star of this book on Amazon.

I know that some people have read this book more than 10 times and some even more! It is amazing to see how popular this book. This book tries to inspire people to remember the motto "I am the master of my fate and the captain of my soul!"It has led and millions of people who are looking for specific goals and purposes in their lives and who want to become rich. Napoleon Hill's question to you is "what genius is asleep in your brain?"

What do you want most in your life? Is the money, fame, power, contentment, happiness and love?

This book is based on more than 25 years in cooperation with more than 500 of America's most distinguished and successful men of great wealth. Napoleon Hill interviewed some of these men who started from scratch. this rich men have explained that the philosophy of money making their thoughts, ideas and organised plans. They turned out to be the source and the secrets of their wealth to the author, and that was how this book was born.

1. desire, the starting point for all Achievement. You need to fix in your mind the exact amount of money you want, then determine what you plan to give in return. You must have a specific date when you plan to have at its disposal the money you want, and then create a definite plan. an explanation for the above and then your written statement read out loud twice a day; once when you are getting up in the morning and once before you go to bed.

2. faith, visualization of and faith in end of desire.Faith is one of the most powerful positive emotions and limiting beliefs can be removed. If you cannot take up your faith, wealth will start in the form of thinking.

3. Auto-suggestion, the normal time-limits for the influence of the subconscious mind. Please enter a value for the repeat of the Declaration of your first step hard each day with emotion or feeling and visualize in the possession of your desired money.

4. specialised knowledge, some Personal Experiences or perceptions. The book concludes that knowledge alone potential power and money, will not attract, unless it is organized and managed by means of concrete action plans with the final end of accumulation of money.

5. imagination, the workshop of the mind. An idea or a fantasy with action can be turned into reality.

6. Organized Planning, the Crystallisation of Desire in action. One of the big reasons why millions of people go through life in misery and poverty is because they do not have a good and intelligent plan through which tends to accumulate fortune.

7. decision, the management of Procrastination. The author found that most of these successful people had the habit of quickly to decisions, and these decisions is slowly changing when they need to be changed.

8. persistence, the sustained effort is needed to techniques Faith. Are the most common reasons for the failure in real life lack of persistence and the habit of leaving when we are facing temporary defeat. The reason that Thomas Edison was successful was because he did not stop, although he did "not" 10,000 times before he successfully invented the light bulb. You have 10,000 times laid down to try if you do not have anything to do?, in due course, defeat the planning to sail again and again to your purpose.

9. power of the Master Mind, the Driving Force.Working with a "Master Mind group" is the key to success. No man can achieve great success on its own, without the coordination of the knowledge and the efforts of others.

10. the secret of Sex transmutation.Sexual desire is the most powerful of human wishes. the desire for sexual contacts is as strong and urgent that men are free to decide whether or not the risk of reputation are enjoying life.Research has shown that most men who have been very successful and have excellent results have been achieved highly sexed men who their energy and inspiration of the women they love.

11. the subconscious, the connection link. There are seven very powerful positive emotions such as desire, faith, love, sex, romance, enthusiasm and hope. our minds should be injected with this positive emotions to understand, control, and overcoming the most negative emotions such as fear, jealousy, hatred, revenge, greed, superstition and anger.

12. The Brain, a broadcast and receiving station for thought.

13. The Sixth Sense, the gate to the Temple of wisdom. Most people don't have developed this feature, however it has been proven to work very well for a number of these successful 500 people.

The investigation found the author that wealth when they are in large quantities, are not the result of hard work! Wealth, clear requirement, based on the application of certain principles, and not by chance or luck. that is the reason why this book is titled "Think and Grow Rich", but not as a "Work Hard and Grow Rich".

There are six basic take care of each one of us and fear of poverty is the strongest. Recent research also shows that it is not a terrorist attack that people fear the most, but it is the fear of running out of money when they retired.

This book is about money, and some people claim that wealth not only be measured in money. However, most people would say "give me all the money that I want, and then I find everything that I need."Money is power, and it goes! that is the reason why this book is still one of the best selling personal financial books of all time!

3 things that your parents do not Teach You About Money

Was your parents rich?

My parents was OK, and they even start their own businesses, but they have never taught me these 3 things:

The difference between linear and leveraged inkomenHoeveel money you need to retire comfortably by using the law of attraction to attract wealth

Linear income is the time for money trading. in other words, if you do not have you not paid. Many people think that doctors and lawyers have made, but think about it – they only make money if they to help a customer. When they retire, they are better to live of significant savings, as well as all the others who work for someone else.

Leveraged income makes use of the time of other people. most business owners experience, as they are employees. You can play golf while your employees from the company. But a traditional business requires a fair amount of management to make sure that it is profitable. And there are the hassles of space rent, rent firing of workers and laying down the "disasters" (such as roof leaks).

What I love about MLM is leveraged income without the hassle. your money on the sale of your downline. While you will need to help them get educated, you will need a sound system that is a duplicate, you can connect them and just ask or maybe some calls to do with them.Once you have determined some results, you can (mostly) are and collect the selection.

People who are earning royalties on books, movies or music also leveraged income to earn, but most of us don't write for best sellers, stars in the blockbuster movies or Platinum pictures!

My favorite book to explain this concept is Robert Kiyosaki "Rich Dad, Poor Dad."

My parents never really learned about me the budget money, and I not taught in school that either. If you don't use long term leveraged income streams, you need to attract substantial savings, especially if you want to travel and other fun stuff — you will have money to the health care coverage, messages and tools in addition to your "beach money."Most people underestimate the amount of money they need to retire, especially in view of the fact that the interest rates on savings is now almost zero.

Most people do not understand that money should be increased. Napoleon Hill 25 years some of the world's richest people interviewing and documented his findings in the classic book "Think And Grow Rich."Although he does not refer to his method as the law of attraction, is that what it is. he gives instructions on how to make money, and he also makes it clear that if you do not aim to attract wealth, by default, you will attract poverty (or a mediocre lifestyle) instead.

Robert Kiyosaki was fortunate that his "rich dad."Since most of us do not impact, we must start now to learn the truth about money and wealth.

What Mindset makes money and wealth?

Translate Request has too much data
Parameter name: request
Translate Request has too much data
Parameter name: request

Is there a mind-set that helps make certain people rich and the lack of it keeps most in poverty? The answer is: yes! Nothing gets created in the physical world, unless it first gets created in the thought of its creator. The same is true for money. Before you can get it, you need to have the mind-set required to create it and increase it.

Understand the ancient secret and scientific truth about Mental

Did you know the scientific fact that all matter broken down to its smallest components is made up of energy? The whole universe, all of us and everything around us, is nothing but energy - manifesting in different forms. The ancient gurus and the modern day quantum physics both tell us that thought is also energy and that physical manifestation follows our thoughts.

As money is energy - it also follows thought. If you want to improve your financial position in life, focus your attention on creating wealth. Also understand that money has neutral energy. It is neither good nor bad. It would become what you would perceive it to be and how you use it.

To accumulate wealth, a person must become very comfortable with the idea of money. Most people are not comfortable with the idea of money, which is why they do not have any. The cause of poverty is poverty consciousness. Since money is energy and an idea, this idea and manifestation of money can expand or contract according to your beliefs!

Decide to be financially successful

This is not wishing, hoping, wanting or desiring to be rich. Make a commitment that this is going to happen! Financial independence is not only a matter of luck and usually requires clear vision and acting on that vision. The Universe is slow for the indecisive. Decide to have money today. If you feel any hesitation about this, learn to clear it out of your mind. You have a right to all the money you desire, and if you are still unsure about this, make your decision, once and for all.

In Wallace Wattles' famous book, The Science of Getting Rich, he says having money is our right and it is privilege to get rich. For only when we are rich, and when we can explore the world and learn to our hearts' desire, we can really discover our full potential.

Write down these 'affirmations' and keep them some place where you can seen them everyday

* Money comes to me every day in every blessed way

* I am always open to receiving money

* I am a money magnet - I attract money easily and effortlessly

* I am grateful that the Universe takes care of my every need

Now that you have examples of affirmations, you may also create your own.

Be Grateful and giving

Send out the energy of "having" with deeply felt gratitude in your heart - then see how it comes back to you many folds. When you express gratitude with what you have, and desire more - in a confident, expectant manner, with unconcern as to the outcome, then you can have anything you want. Be happy before you get money. Be happy right now!

Understand the universal truth about money and abundance: the more you give others who need help the more shall be given to you. Why do you think these rich people give out so much in charity? They understand this secret very well. If you don't have money to give, give your time, volunteer, do something to give something - you will get reward in the way of getting what you need.

Master your relationship with money

Many people have a love/hate relationship with money. They say they want money, but they are really afraid of it also. The idea of having money scares them. Try to develop a relationship of respect, appreciation and gratitude with money. Use it wisely! Never waste it. Spend it on 'quality services or products' - never on 'bling'

There have been many instances of millionaires losing their entire fortunes, only to make it back in a very short time. The reason being, they have the mindset for success and they have their own formula for this. Those with "success mind-set" view failure as an opportunity to succeed

Realize That Your having More Money will Bless the World

In order to become wealthy, one must discover the value in oneself, and one's ideas. Often these ideas bring "increased life" to those all around us (kudos to inventors of cars, airplanes, internet.... the list goes on). Each of us has an amazing capacity for doing good. Learn to follow your heart, to express yourself, and to share your ideas. In the process, you will bless the lives of countless others as well.

Set specific goals

The money goals should be challenging, but not unbelievable, just out of reach but not out of sight. Challenge yourself to be financially independent by a specific time frame. How much money do you want? Saying you want more is not good enough. Hundred dollars is more. How much more? Decide on a figure. Be specific.

Surround yourself with wealth

Remember that your single-most money attracting factor is your attitude and belief about money. You need to start feeling wealthy, and this can be done in some simple, inexpensive ways. Here are some ideas that can help:

Carry some extra cash in your wallet. At first, this may only be $10, but if you aren't used to even having that much money with you, it's a good start. Ideally, you want to get this up to a few hundred dollars. But the idea is that you start to dispel that feeling of being "broke." When asked if you have any money, your answer should always be "Yes!"

As you start this exercise, you will find many things you would like to buy. Each day, see the many things you could buy. "I could get this, or this, or this." There are so many choices. There is an abundance of choices, and you are beginning to experience this abundance. And this realization of all the abundance that surrounds you will give you just the ideas and opportunities you need to create more of your own.

Start to upgrade your life experience in small, simple ways. Think of the little things in your life that would change "if you were wealthy." You'll be surprised at how many "wealthy" changes you can make in your life, that really don't cost much. What simple things are you denying yourself because you "don't have the money"? Be patient, and stay within your means. If you go and charge up your credit card to do this, you aren't going to feel wealthy. You may for a moment, until you get your bill in the mail. But then you'll feel more broke than before. Start as small as you need to. A dollar here and a dollar there, to buy a little better than what you are used to - but stay within your means - do not buy on credit to feel good.

There is yet another money mastery technique that has been used by many a rich people in the days when they had no money: Take a blank check out of your checkbook and on the date line write down a date in the future (ensure it's out far enough to be comfortable). Make the check out to yourself for the amount of money you wish to manifest. Sign the check "Gift from The Universe". Put the check in your wallet and carry it around with you wherever you go. It will instantly start to attract more money to you! This exercise has worked wonders for many people who say they attracted miraculous monetary gifts out of the blue! Many of the richest people in the world have done something very similar before manifesting their abundant life. Do it!

Let Go of Desperation for money

Most people do have an unhealthy desire and desperate craving for money. This is counterproductive. An attitude of "I must have money" simply stalls your flow of energy. When you want something so much that you think you will only be happy if you get it, the universe pushes back and says no!

Let go of your "attachment" to wanting and needing money. As long as you think you need money to be happy you will push it away because of your desperate craving. Remember: Money does not bring happiness - Happiness brings money! Those who are truly happy now always attract more abundance into their life. Relax your wanting and craving, and recognize how much you already truly have in this moment.

If you think that anything outside yourself will cause you to feel a certain way, then you are suffering under an illusion. If we are led entirely by the desire to earn money, we rob ourselves of the freedom to enjoy the more satisfying pleasures of life. Worry a little less about finances. Enjoy each moment of your life. Money will come as a natural by-product.

Learn All you Can from the Masters of the past and present

Take the time to read the classics on creating money and the power of thought. Napoleon Hill learned directly from the most successful men of his time, and put together all he'd learned in his amazing masterpiece, "Think and Grow Rich." He dedicated decades of his life to produce this work that continues to influence generation after generation.

Do - what you love doing - the money will follow

Look around at the people who succeed in business and attain great wealth. Almost without exception, they have a business where they make money doing what they love. Because they love their work, they do superb work and provide great service to others.

You can force yourself to do what you don't love, for a short time, but this ends really quick. In order to consistently produce results, do what you love to do. What do you love to do? Leverage your mind and figure out a way to give value to others by doing what you love. The money will follow. Somewhere, someone is getting rich doing exactly what you love to do. Make a list of activities that are engaging and enjoyable to you. Look around and find someone who makes a living with that activity and mentor with them.

Don't leave your present job until you have another one already making money for you. You have unique talents and abilities for a reason. You will fulfill your mission best by using your strengths and doing what makes your heart sing!

Making Money by Following Your Passions

Share/Bookmark

Although I’ll be the first one to say that an education does not automatically guarantee success, I will also say that getting a formal or informal education in something that you want to make money at is at the very least worth considering. Personally, I will be getting at least an AA if not a Bachelor’s degree over the next few years, compliments of the U.S. Air Force.

When the fine folks over at Premier Student Loans offered to do a guest post about making money by following your passions, I jumped at the chance to get some quality content for the blog, since my hands are still too full for me to consistently add new content to this site. So, enjoy this guest post, give some serious thought to the role of education in your own success plan, and feel free to leave a comment if you’d like to share your thoughts!

Success, including financial prosperity, rarely comes to those who lack direction or purpose. Most of us possess a loose network of desires, tendencies and interests that guide us to choose a profession and chart a satisfactory direction for our lives.

Perhaps our first stab at a career came when we took the first job we could get, just to get away from, or to please Mom and Dad. Many of us just go on from there, working this or that job, interesting or not. While your job may not necessarily be your life, since you will spend 30 to 50 percent of your life at work, it stands to reason that doing something that you are absolutely crazy about will, at least, make the time go faster.

Stick With Your Passion

All of us want to make a living doing something we really love, but lack the self-confidence to pursue, such as being involved in medical case management, a painter, a gourmet chef, an automobile mechanic, or a writer. As Jack Palance said in the film “City Slickers”, “The secret to life is to pick one thing and stick with it.” The adhesive that will help us “stick with it” and live the lives we love is passion.

On unique occasions, such as being laid off, succumbing to job burn-out, or just wanting more out of life, we decide to make a change and prepare a clean slate on which to plot our next course. It is at these times that our passions, our burning desires, will give us direction and motivation to pursue the next big thing in our lives.

The Other Side of the Passion Coin

We should not accept the objects of our passions on face value, but rather discover what it is about them that really float our boats. If you feel passionate about “helping people”, careers in that field number in the hundreds. They can range from being a live-in aid for a disabled person to going to medical school and becoming a pathologist. On the one hand, a live-in aid has intensive contact with his or her client, including bathing, feeding, and toilet procedures. A pathologist rarely sees patients and works in a lab, preparing specimens and doing hours of microscopic analyses. Both jobs would qualify as “helping people.” The trick to choosing a living by following your passions is to explore careers that offer the most satisfaction that also have the fewest disagreeable features.

Find That Special Niche

A passion for art is also a gossamer-like concept. If all you want to do is paint wildlife and fill up page after page in your sketchbooks, you should run that up the flagpole and go full speed ahead. However, if you passionately love art, and think you should become an artist, but never doodle in the margins of your schoolbooks and are hesitant to make that first mark on a piece of illustration board, look deeper into your passion to discover that special niche.

Perhaps an easier route to living your passion is to look at what you already do. What is the one thing you do that you are always thinking about, analyzing, and doing in your spare time? Making a living while doing what you are passionate about may sound more difficult than hanging in there with your safe old job, but you can seamlessly transition into a new career by setting aside time in the evenings instead of doing non-productive things such as watching TV. There are distance learning courses, online degree programs, and web sites that can teach you just about anything.

Engage!

If you are ready to commit to making money by following your passions, set the stage by making time for yourself, being honest with yourself about your talents and passions, doing all the research, and establishing a game plan. Let the transformation begin!
